Machinery Central is owned and operated by machine tool industry veteran Denis Frankenberger, former owner of Advance Machinery based in Louisville, KY. With 50 years of industry experience, Frankenberger began his career in the machine tool industry in Louisville, KY in 1968 and proceeded to grow his company into one of the largest machine tool dealers in the U.S.

Advance was purchased by G.E. Capital in 1999 marking the only purchase of a machine tool distributor by a Fortune 100 company in the history of the industry.

Scott Fahl has been a Tool & Die Maker for over 32 years before joining Machinery-Central in November of 2020 in the sales department. His Tool & Die experience has enabled him to gain a vast knowledge of different kinds of CNC and manual machines being used in the industry today. Scott has been married to his wife, Joy, for over 29 years and has 2 daughters. Scott is also an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and along with his wife Joy are the Senior Pastors of Mt. Washington Church of God in Mt. Washington, KY.

Chris Treagy having multiple skills, is our warehouse manager who oversees many functions including but not limited to receiving and shipping and most importantly, properly preparing machines for shipment.
